Meridian · Industrial Advisory & Operations Firm

Three routes to capture industrial value in Brazil

For those who want to manufacture modules in Brazil, Meridian runs factory, PADIS and regulation as one integrated program.

For those who already manufacture, or will have their own plant, we structure PADIS to turn the fiscal incentive into margin, cash and governance.

For those who import, manufacture abroad or sell modules in Brazil, we run homologation, certifications and training to unlock market access.

The company

Who is behind it

Meridian is an Industrial Advisory & Operations Firm. It was born from applied PADIS and incorporated the implementation of photovoltaic module factories from the team's industrial experience.

The work goes beyond the report: the company structures decision, implementation and operation according to the contracted scope.

Entry

What is your company's situation?

The starting point defines the route. The explanation starts from the decision the company needs to make, not from internal nomenclature.

Implanta

We want to manufacture modules in Brazil

Distributors, investors and foreign manufacturers use the Implanta route to turn an industrial thesis into an operable factory, with PADIS and regulation handled from the feasibility stage.

See Meridian Implanta
PADIS

We already manufacture, or will have our own plant, and we want PADIS

The PADIS route turns the incentive into margin, cash and governance. If the decision also involves building the factory with Meridian, the correct entry is Implanta.

Regulatory

We need to sell compliant modules in Brazil

The Regulatory route starts from the datasheet, classifies the family, organizes the dossier, coordinates testing and supports registration and the ENCE label. Certifications and training come in when they open clients, tenders or markets.

Factory, PADIS and regulation in one integrated program

The feasibility study assesses market, channel, scale, investment, operation, incentives and regulatory access. The result is an executive recommendation on the factory configuration and the conditions to move forward.

When the project advances, Meridian structures the masterplan, coordinates suppliers and specialties, governs the schedule, runs commissioning and follows the start of production. PADIS and Regulatory come in as part of the industrial decision, not as loose topics after the factory.

01
Executive feasibility

Market, capital, incentives, regulation and conditions to move forward.

02
Industrial program

Technology route, layout, machines, utilities and schedule.

03
Implementation

Interfaces, suppliers, tests, acceptance and start of production.

04
Assisted operation

Training, indicators, quality and stabilization.

03 · Regulatory

The compliance that unlocks selling in Brazil

To sell, import or distribute photovoltaic modules in Brazil, the product must be compliant with Inmetro/PBE. Meridian runs the process from family classification to registration and the ENCE label, with certifications and training when they expand access to clients, tenders or markets.

The work reduces the risk of rejection, rework, documentation errors, poorly contracted testing and cargo held at import. The starting point is simple: bring the datasheet and the available documentation.

01
Readiness

Scope, family, technology, documentation and risks of rejection.

02
Technical dossier

Specifications, efficiency, Declaration of Conformity and documentary consistency.

03
Testing and registration

Interface with the laboratory, support for registration and the ENCE label.

04
Maintenance

Renewal, new models and portfolio audit.

For whom

Is this for your company?

The three fronts serve distinct profiles.

Implanta
  • distributors and brands with relevant module volume;
  • industrial groups with their own channel and investment capacity;
  • investors and holdings assessing a manufacturing thesis;
  • foreign manufacturers studying local production.
PADIS
  • industries eligible or candidates for PADIS;
  • manufacturers of semiconductors, displays, photovoltaics, batteries and electronics;
  • already-qualified companies that need to correct or run the cycle;
  • foreign manufacturers that will have their own plant in Brazil.
Regulatory
  • manufacturers and importers that need to sell modules in Brazil;
  • brands with incomplete or scattered technical documentation;
  • distributors with multiple families and SKUs;
  • companies that want to reduce rework before testing.

Initial diagnosis

Start from the current situation

The initial diagnosis routes the contact to the right front. For a factory, we need to understand market, channel, scale, capital and decision horizon. For PADIS, product, location, qualification status and R&D structure. For Regulatory, module portfolio, technology and available documentation. The triage identifies the route and the information needed to move forward.
